At Bethany Lutheran Primary School, our focus on Love starts with God, who is the source of love and grace. We are excited to announce the opening of a beautiful new prayer space in our courtyard. This space has been thoughtfully designed to inspire quiet reflection, well-being and connection with God and each other. 

Why prayer spaces matter: 

• They provide a peaceful place for students to pray, reflect, recharge and connect during the day. 
• They remind us of God's presence in our daily lives. 
• They help children grow in their faith and feel God's love in their hearts. 

How students will use them: 

• Our Worship Captains will lead informal prayer circles during break times and will connect with younger students. 
• Students can choose to visit the space for quiet contemplation and relaxation. 
• Students can contribute anonymous prayers that will be prayed over during Wednesday Worship. 
• Students are invited to anonymously write down their thoughts, feelings, or worries on small cards provided in the space. These cards will be prayed over, offering a sense of support and care. By sharing in this way, students can also see that they are not alone in their emotions and experiences, fostering a sense of connection, empathy and understanding within our school community.  

We encourage families to visit the prayer space after school and spend a few moments together in prayer. This space is a gift to remind us that God's love is constant, unconditional, and ever-present.
