Community

We believe that community is at the heart of everything we do at Bethany. It’s not just something we talk about—it’s something we live, every day, in our classrooms, playgrounds, events, and relationships. We were created for connection, and when students, families, and staff feel known, valued, and supported, everyone thrives.

Our community is grounded in love, shaped by faith, and strengthened through shared moments. We walk alongside one another with kindness, humility, and joy—celebrating together, supporting each other in challenges, and growing in purpose as one body. At Bethany, no one walks alone.

A Place Where Everyone Belongs

From the moment a family joins our school, they become part of something bigger. We take time to build relationships, learn names, and create a culture where everyone feels safe and welcomed. Whether it’s your child being greeted by name at the gate, a casual chat at the Grace Space Café, or a connection made at one of our community events, these small moments weave together into something powerful—belonging.

Partnership with Families

We believe that strong relationships between home and school are essential. When we partner with families, students benefit. That’s why we’re intentional about open communication, regular connection points, and inviting families to take part in school life. We value your voice, your presence, and your role in shaping this community.

Shared Moments and Celebrations

Throughout the year, we create moments that matter—events and experiences that bring our community together and celebrate the joy of learning and growing. From Connect Morning and Exhibition Evenings to our Colour Run, Grace Space Café, and worship each week, these gatherings strengthen our shared identity and remind us of the goodness of being in community.

Living Out Our Values Together

Our core values—Love, Learning, Courage, and being Christ-Led—are not just words on a wall. They are lived out through relationships and actions every day. We serve one another, lift each other up, and grow stronger by walking side by side. We support families in their joys and struggles, and we teach our students the beauty of being part of a loving, Christ-centred community.
