Bethany Lutheran Kindergarten

The Kindergarten is proudly managed by QLECS (Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services), a non-profit organisation.

It is co-located on the grounds of Bethany Lutheran Primary School, but enrolment at the Kindergarten is separate from enrolment at the school.

The program at Bethany Lutheran Kindergarten aims to stimulate young minds to think outside the square and foster creativity. We will challenge thinking and doing and support cooperative learning. We welcome the opportunity to partner with you and your child at Bethany Kindergarten.

Together, we will share the exciting journey as your child learns and grows into the talented and gifted person God created. We want to provide your child with a safe, secure, comfortable, supportive learning environment.

Please phone the Kindergarten between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm for enrolments/waiting list applications. Please apply early as there is a significant waitlist each year for the Kindy Program.

Kindergarten Program hours/staffing

The kindergarten program will operate as normal from 8.00 am to 3.30 pm. A qualified Teacher/Service Leader (Bachelor ED-EC) is responsible for the program's planning and implementation and is supported by a qualified Teacher Assistant. The Service Leader collaborates with and reports to the QLECS Children's Services Manager.

Days: Five days a week/ or as required by the needs of the family

Attendance: A child must be a minimum of three and a half years of age at the beginning of the school year to attend.

Children born between 1 July 2021 - 30 June 2022 are eligible to attend in 2026.
