Love - Christian Studies

This term, our students are exploring what it means to love others by serving the community. Through Christian Studies, we are teaching children to live out our school values—love, learning, courage, and being Christ-led—in practical ways.

What students are learning:

  • The importance of service: Jesus teaches us to love others as He loves us.

  • Acts of kindness: Small gestures, like writing cards for the elderly or picking up rubbish, show love in action.

  • How our school values guide our service: Love inspires us to care; courage helps us take action; learning helps us grow; Christ leads us.

How we’re putting this into practice:

  • Classes are participating in service projects, such as creating care packs for local charities.

  • Students are encouraged to identify ways to serve others in their own families and neighborhoods.

  • Weekly reflections help children think about how they are showing love to others.

Together, we are building a community of compassionate, Christ-led learners who bring love into the world.
