Flexible Support for Real Life – How We're Partnering With You
At Bethany, we know that life doesn’t follow a perfect script. Children develop in their own time, families face different challenges, and support looks different for everyone.
That’s why we’re committed to offering flexible, responsive support — not just through what we do internally, but through the trusted partnerships we’ve built around us.
This term, that includes:
- A school-based visiting psychologist, providing in-house support for students — helping us respond to emotional and behavioural needs in real time.
- A counsellor working with selected students and families, partnering with us to support children who need a little extra care.
- A strong, ongoing relationship with an experienced occupational therapist, supporting physical, sensory, and emotional regulation goals.
- Speech and OT screening in Prep and Year 1 — so families can gain early insight and act quickly when needed.
- A wide network of allied health professionals — including speech pathologists, OTs, mental health professionals, and physiotherapists — who work with students during school hours, onsite, so that families don’t have to navigate long waitlists or time off work.
These partnerships are a vital part of our approach to learning and wellbeing. They allow us to:
- Meet children where they’re at.
- Support families with less stress.
- Create shared goals between teachers and therapists.
- Bring care and intervention into the flow of daily life — rather than asking families to carry it alone.
As we move toward the launch of the Bethany Thrive Hive in the coming years, we are building on this foundation — with a vision to provide even more wraparound care through co-located allied health, counselling, and intervention services right here on campus.
This is what Life looks like when we respond with flexibility, purpose, and love.
