The Arts program at Bethany Lutheran Primary School explores Drama, Dance, Visual Arts and Media Arts.
Lessons across these subjects are taught from Prep to Year 6 each week by a specialist teacher. A different strand of The Arts is explored each semester over a two year period. Students in Years 4-6 are also able to utilise the 1-to-1 iPad Program during Media Arts lessons to create pieces of work that go beyond the limits of their imagination.
Every class will have the opportunity to share their learning and creations in yearly showcase events such as the school-wide Art Show and the Junior Drama Showcase.
Students in Years 4 – 6 will also be involved in a biennial school musical. This provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the process of creating live theatre by making props, stage managing in the crew and performing on stage.
