Why Choose Bethany Lutheran Primary School?

The Bethany Difference...

A Christian school where everyone belongs.

We create a safe, supportive Christ centred environment that empowers all to achieve and flourish. Our facilities provide an agile, 21st Century learning environment, giving our students opportunities to feel connected, engaged and inspired. This is achieved through the relationships we build, and our award - winning innovative programs and learning spaces.

Excellence in teaching and learning

We provide an engaging, innovative curriculum through which every student reaches their God-given potential. Our passionate teaching staff endeavour to cater for the individual learning needs of each child in their care.

Our classroom teachers are supported by specialist teaching staff in the areas of Physical Education, Music and The Arts.

Our teaching programs ensure that we develop the whole child and cater for 21st Century learners.

Positive and inclusive wellbeing

Our school culture underpins positive wellbeing, service and respectful relationships throughout our community for the benefit of all. To build confidence, teachers concentrate and celebrate what children can do, rather than what they can’t do. Children are encouraged to make choices and express themselves in ways that are meaningful to them. This makes learning exciting and relevant.

By building partnerships with parents and the community, a positive and inclusive culture of trust, respect and high expectations has been created.

Effective connections

We are known as a caring and family orientated, Christian school with a strong focus on community and connectedness. We aim for optimum parent communication and engagement, as we know, a successful parent-school relationship ensures better educational outcomes for every child.

At Bethany, you and your child will be warmly welcomed and supported to experience the best schooling journey possible.

Pastoral Care

Through our Pastoral Care program, we support all members of our school community. We strive to show care and compassion to every student, parent and colleague regardless of their personal beliefs, abilities, behaviour or circumstances.

We promote a culture of respect and support for each student’s social, emotional and spiritual development.

When additional support is needed, we offer the services of our School Pastors and a Psychologist.
