Shane Harch

Shane has been teaching at Bethany since the year 2000. In that time he has taught Year 4 and Year 5 classes. When the Stage Based program commenced Shane continued to teach at the Stage 3 level. Shane loves helping students grow in their learning journey in all the curriculum areas – Maths, Language, Integrated and Christian Studies. Shane was also the Sports Coordinator for Bethany for many years, a role that he really enjoyed! Shane coaches the Junior Soccer Team and has experienced taking them to a number of Premierships over the years. Outside of school Shane has a passion for gardening and keeping fit. In 2011, when offered the challenge, through a restructuring of our stages, to take a Year 3/4 Home Group, Shane replied enthusiastically, "Yes, I can do that!"  Currently, Mr Harch is teaching Year 4.
