Years 3 & 4 Vist Wolston House!

Georgia: I heard that years 3 & 4 went to Wolston house.

Lily: Yes we did.

Georgia: So where is it?

Lily: Wolston house is just outside Brisbane.

Georgia: Why did you go there?

Lily: We wanted to learn about how people lived about 150 years ago.

Georgia:  What did you see there?

Lily: We saw an old house that Mr. Simpson built in 1853. We also saw a model of the house when the Goggs family lived there.

Georgia: What were some of the things that you did there?

Lily: We pumped water from a water pump, washed clothes on a washboard, played some olden day games and dressed up in olden day clothes.

Georgia: Do you think life was better back then?

Lily: I think it was better back then because it would be fun! But the worst thing would be wearing the corset!
