Last Tuesday, Emma Greatz from Lutheran Youth of Queensland paid a visit to our Year Sevens. This was a great time for them to participate in a variety of activities that focused on leadership at Bethany, teamwork and being good role models. It was a day filled with great fun and learning. Here are what some of the year sevens had to say about it.
Some of the things we want to remember for our classroom are...
- Be a good role model
- Use our high five
- Use kind words
- Encourage each other
- Work as a team more
- Trust each other
- Be kind and helpful to each other
Some of our favourite activities were...
- Running together as a team through the skipping rope
- The scissor trust walk was scary but fun. We had to walk through with our eyes closed and trust our friends not to hit us.
- Being able to run through the skipping rope in one second with our whole class!
